About the event
The Home Alone Safety program offered by Akron Children’s Hospital is a course for children between the ages of 8 and 13 years, where they will learn skills needed to remain safe while staying home alone.
March 7th and 14th from 4-5:30 pm (must register for both days).
Topics include:
• Preparing To Stay Home Alone
• Fire Safety/Fire Exit Plan
• CPR/Choking
• Cooking and Kitchen Safety
• First Aid and Emergency Preparedness
• Weather Emergency Safety
Participants will get a kit to take home that has a first aid kit, flashlight, and more!
