TEEN LEADERSHIP
We offer opportunities for teens to develop their leadership skills through our Teen Leaders Club and Youth & Government program.
Teen Leaders Club
Make a difference through the YMCA Teen Leaders Club, a leadership development, community service program that helps teens discover their full potential. It is a safe place where teens can come and simply be themselves.
Leaders Club is a year-long leadership development program for middle and high school teens. This program provides teens with extensive leadership training and volunteer opportunities that support YMCA programs and services to the community.
In addition to teaching teens leadership through service, Leaders Club advisors:
• Introduce teens to all the work the Y does to strengthen the community and
• Inspire and prepare teens to become future Y leaders.
Our goal is to challenge teens to serve the community, help them grow in who they are, and lead those around them. The mission of the Teen Leaders Club is to strengthen the community by instilling the core values of Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility in teens through hands-on, real-life leadership activities, leadership retreats, and volunteering.
